Kayakalpa Session
Kayakalpa Session
Each Kayakalpa session begins with an in-depth consultation to establish your medical history, elemental constitution and to understand your specific health goals.
Afterwards, the techniques implemented in the sessions address each physiological system to first detoxify and then fortify the body. This naturally alters the body chemistry to be able to accomplish rejuvenation.
While each session may follow a similar order of therapies, they are administered according to individual constitution, resulting in a unique experience, no matter where you are on the spectrum of mental, emotional and physical health.
Each Session Includes:
Nasya: Nose Drops to cleanse and revitalize nasal passages using specialty oil.
Netra: Eyes are cleansed using a specialty blend of herbal drops
Alepa: A blend of 60+ herbs and oils are tailored to your constitution, powdered and made into a paste to detoxify and nourish the body through the epidermis.
Sneha: Oil infused with 60+ herbs and customized to your constitution is used to remove the Alepa, to further detoxify and moisturize the skin.
Karna Puran: Warm herbal oil is poured into the ear canal to improve hearing, relieve jaw discomfort and gently remove excess buildup.
Siro Abhayanga: Application of herbal oils to the scalp to purify and nourish the brain.
Swedana: Therapeutic steam sweating further opens the pores, flushing out impurities through the sweat glands and increasing the penetration of Sneha oils.
Basti: Herbal enema (also customized to your needs)
Dhara Kalpa: While in a bath, a continuous stream of herbal infused oil is applied to your forehead, throat and chest to create micro-vibrations which release plaque buildup in the brain.
Samadhi: (During Dhara Kalpa)
The therapist will guide you in specific breathing practices designed to stimulate the flow of vital energy in the body.
Each session is followed by a home cooked Indian meal of Khichri made with medicinal spices and all-organic ingredients. We encourage all of our guests to relax and reflect on their experience fol- lowing their Kayakalpa session.
